Wedding ceremony

I’m reaching out to see if there might be a music student/s at the University of Wisconsin–Madison who would be interested in performing at a small (24 people) wedding ceremony.

Details: Date: September 24, 2026

Time: Wedding ceremony at 3pm. Space reserved from 12:45-3:45

Location: Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison- Assembly Parlor

Instrumentation: Solo or duo string performance

Time Needed: 1 hour of ceremony music needed but will pay for 2.5 hours.

Individual student performers and small student ensembles from the School of Music are available to provide a wide range of music at churches, corporate functions, private parties, weddings, and more.

All fees are negotiated between the person providing the listing and the musician(s). Most performances require time to rehearse. Contracts and terms are highly recommended before any works begins.

The Mead Witter School of Music and UW–Madison assume no liability and are not involved with any of the negotiations or agreements made between the parties.

Please include:
1. Your name and (if applicable) the name of your employer or organization.

2. A description of the gig or job.

3. Date, place and time(s) of the gig.

4. Paid or volunteer terms. A paid offer is more likely to receive a response.

5. Your contact information.

6. Any other pertinent information.

Listings are updated approximately every two weeks.
