I am looking for a student Jazz group to play at my wedding in January and was led to this forum. I’ll do my best to provide all of the relevant information but please feel free to reach out with any questions. We are looking for a student Jazz group to play live music at our wedding, starting at 1pm with the cocktail/social hour and going through around 7 pm when dinner ends. In the middle of that time frame is the ceremony itself where we’d like some very light background music. I’m not sure how feasible that really is, but that’s our hope and we’re open to communicating and finding an outcome that works for all of us.
January 31st, 1 pm-7 pm at the Goodman Community Center. This will be a paid gig. We’re not quite sure how much exactly, but again we’re open to communicating and finding something that works for everyone. We’re looking specifically for a student group because we love supporting our community and we want to provide a fun opportunity for experience that values your time and effort.
