Madison Symphony Orchestra student volunteers

Madison Symphony Orchestra is looking for student volunteers.

Student Ambassador Responsibilities:
– Promoting the Symphony on all your social media platforms applicable.
– Interacting with your fellow students to promote our events to help spread the word.
– Attending 6 out of 8 of our Subscription concerts at minimum (you are welcome to attend any others).
– Communicating with our Digital Marketing Manager on which concerts you’ll be attending the Thursday before concert weekend.

In exchange you’ll receive a pair of tickets to the concert(s) you help promote as a thank you for your time!

NextGen:
The NextGen Committee is a group of volunteers and symphony staff that meets monthly to discuss ongoing initiatives and propose new ideas. The mission of the Committee is to make the symphony experience in Overture Hall an event that all generations, particularly younger generations, will wish to have over and over again.

Responsibilities:
– Participate in monthly committee meetings
– Bring ideas for audience engagement, events, or content
– Attend symphony concerts, MSO After Dark events, and Out at the Symphony events to enjoy as well as to help set up and bring committee ideas to life

– Help shape events and lobby experiences for younger audiences
