Have looked through gig services and keep getting offers that are just over the top, more for evening holiday cocktail parties and big groups . There may be only a dozen-fifteen friends and neighbors, and music shouldn’t drown out conversation. Event is primarily indoors but may spread to patio, leaving door open so music can drift down the stairs. We have an antique Steinway baby grand we would have tuned before the event. Don’t know what a reasonable rate would be—just ask for what you need. Open to going on a little longer if people want to linger.
