Habitat For Humanity fundraiser

Description of Event:
At the fundraiser, there will be hundreds of locally made clay bowls that attendees will select from. They then will get to have a “local celebrity” (news channels, student-athletes, local politicians, multiple deans from UW Madison’s colleges, and more) serve them soup! After getting their bowl and meal, attendees sit down and enjoy it while listening to live music, getting their faces painted, etc. Typical attendees include families and the elderly. This is where the performers would come in! The musician(s) will be doing a stage performance during the fundraiser. The time slot can be for up to an hour but does not have to be that long. We will also accept any amount of performers from just 1 to as many that can fit on the stage! Any songs that the musicians would like to perform are perfect for us (however songs with lyrics that can be recognized by attendees might gain more interest!). We appreciate any talent that would like to perform and are open to multiple performers as well as we have 6 hours of entertainment to fill up! (performers are encouraged to eat for free as well as take home a free ceramic bowl!)

Time: Anytime between 12-6pm

We would prefer to have volunteers (since this is a fundraiser) however we are open to paid performers as well!

Individual performers and small groups are available to provide a wide range of music at churches, corporate functions, private parties, weddings, and more.

All fees are negotiated between the person providing the listing and the musician(s). Most performances require time to rehearse. Contracts and terms are highly recommended before any works begins.

The Mead Witter School of Music and UW–Madison assume no liability and are not involved with any of the negotiations or agreements made between the parties.
