We are interested in hiring a guitar player for my mother’s 70th birthday party. We’re hoping someone can play some quiet music that spans between the 1950s and current day, to capture the 70 years that she has lived. We’re interested in folk music, light rock, calming popular music across the decades. The 70th birthday party is at Quivey’s Grove in Madison, WI. We’re hoping to hire someone for about 2 hours on Saturday, October 19. We will be taking photos outside at 4:00-5:00. We’re hoping to have the music begin around then. We will transition into the Stone House at 5:00, and it would be lovely to have music during the appetizers at about 5:00-6:00. We are happy to order a meal if the musician would like one.
