Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison is seeking to hire section leaders in the alto, tenor, and bass sections. Compensation is highly competitive, averaging out to $600-700 per month. Rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 7;00 until 8:30, and performances are on Sunday mornings, with responsibilities from 8:15 until 10:00 a.m. Section leaders need to be soloists who are interested in singing standard solo repertoire as part of the church service, and they need to be strong readers who lead their section. As soloists, their musical abilities will be highly valued, and there will be many performance opportunities in which they are featured.
